James has also provided the slides used on the video and a template on how to ‘Prepare a winter feed budget for your stock’ which you can download by clicking here. James encourages everyone to complete this budget as soon as possible: the key phrase was ‘Kiss the Frog’, in other words the sooner you know your winter feed position, the broader the range of strategies available to a farmer to avoid a costly feed deficit in January / February 2023
