In late 2021, the Penwith Landscape Partnership were pleased to welcome two new members to our team - Victoria Hole, who joins as our new Programme Manager; and Chandelle Randall, who is our new Volunteer Coordinator. Here they share a bit more about themselves and their thoughts on the PLP programme!
Victoria Hole
Victoria Hole joins us as the new PLP Programme Manager. Victoria has an arts management background with a vested interest in environmental sustainability. Victoria’s motivation for the industry change is a response to the ever increasing need to take action on protecting landscapes and wildlife. Her thoughts on the project;
‘PLP is achieving remarkable work in terms of connecting people and communities to ancient sites, farming and wildlife. The team and partners are consistently enthusiastic and committed to the shared aim to support the understanding, conservation and enhancement of the Penwith Landscape. I’m delighted to now be a part of this.’
Chandelle Randall
Chandelle Randall joins us as the new PLP Volunteer Coordinator. Chandelle spent over 10 years in Local Government before stepping across to the 3rd sector. She has spent a number of years working in Penwith and a good deal of time exploring the landscape with a very dog eared OS map. Her thoughts on the programme;
‘It’s a real privilege to part of the PLP and an absolute pleasure to work in such a wildly beautiful landscape. The project weaves together many threads to achieve something so much greater than its constituent parts.’
We wish Victoria and Chandelle all the best in their new roles, and also wish to give our thanks to our previous Programme Manager Julian Branscombe for his work on the programme as he moves on to pastures new; and also to our previous Volunteer Coordinator Nick, who has moved roles within the PLP team to become our Ecologist.
