Safety Information and Disclaimer for use of Walking Trails:
Prior to going on any walk, there are many variables that must be considered including, but not limited to, weather, fitness level, terrain, and experience level. Be sure to check the current weather and conditions before heading outdoors and equip yourself appropriately. Always exercise common sense and caution. Paths can become slippery, boggy and dangerous in wet and wintry weather. Wet weather can also cause some streams and rivers to become impassable. On days where visibility is impaired by cloud, mist, rain or fog, some landmarks used as direction aids may not be visible. Please take care!
While every effort is taken to ensure that the route descriptions are accurate, we can in no way guarantee the routes to be 100% free of errors. To the best of our knowledge, the routes are entirely on public rights of way or within areas that are open for public access at the time of writing. The route descriptions are intended to be used in conjunction with the relevant OS Explorer maps, and we are not responsible for the safety or well-being of any one who chooses to follow these routes.
When exploring the Penwith Landscape, it is vital to be aware of the danger posed by mineshafts. They are not always obvious or marked on maps, and so we recommend sticking to established pathways at all times.
In no way shall the Penwith Landscape Partnership be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, or consequential damages arising out of, or in any way connected with the use of the information contained in or the activity described within this website. Any reliance you place on such information is therefore strictly at your own risk.
