Volunteer

Volunteering has been at the heart of the work of the Penwith Landscape Partnership. 

The PLP volunteering options continue through The Cornwall Heritage Trust if you would like to get involved please contact volunteering@cornwallheritagetrust.org 

Many of our projects included opportunities for volunteer work. The work our volunteers undertook included:

• Clearing vegetation from footpaths and ancient sites

• Surveying archaeological remains in Penwith

• Repairing Cornish hedges

• Identifying and recording flora and fauna

• Repairing and replacing stiles and gates

• Recording important local heritage features in the landscape

• Removing invasive species of plants

• Historical research into ancient sites
